Position Summary:
This position requires hands on and highly detail-oriented individual who will participate in all capital accounting and analysis activities including Capital Budgeting, Appropriations, PO Placement, Spend Analysis, Project Closeout and Forecasting supporting the Monthly Closing Process and Reporting as required.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
*Serve as financial business partner to Major Capital Budget Owners on all matters of Capital Projects
*Applies principles of finance and accounting to the analysis of capital projects including:
*Return on Investment (ROI), Net Present Value (NPV) & Payback Timeframe (in years/months)
*Categorization by asset classification (ie Manufacturing Equipment, Buildings, Leasehold Improvement, etc)
*Categorization by business purpose (ie Growth, Cost Reduction, Maintenance of Business, IT, Facilities, R&D, Special Projects, etc.)
*Managing the inflow of Capital Approval Request (CAR) forms, ensuring projects are within the current Capital Budget, obtaining all levels of approval, and sending completed forms back to the requestor with assigned CAR #
*Monthly Reporting and Tracking of the following:
*Open PO's - both spent to date and remaining open balances
*Capital Budget by project and Major Owner - appropriated, spent and remaining
*Overall Capital Budget for SIG SAUER Inc.
*Outstanding Invoices received but not paid to support cash flow actuals and forecasting
*Providing a monthly list of Capital Invoices paid to support funding from the Capital Line Term Loan
*Work with Accounting to ensure understanding and departmental linkage for actuals and forecasting in FP&A models for Depreciation
*Create Depreciation Forecast for in process & future project spend for Full Year, Budget and Multi-Year analysis
*Provide "Post mortem" analysis to assist the organization in evaluating the financial returns and operational effectiveness of capital projects
*Be the consummate subject matter expert on all things Capital to the Sr. Finance Staff, CFO & CEO
*Advise in definition and implementation of Information Technology systems and tools to improve controls and analysis surrounding the Capital Expenditure management process
*Support Ad Hoc Analysis on a variety of Financial & Accounting topics to support peak activity demands on the finance organization
